Sista hela dagen i Cache Valley

Idag har jag varit på banken. Jag trodde att jag skulle säga upp ett konto och ändra villkoren för det andra. Det visade sig att jag inte behövde det så länge jag har $25 som roterar mellan dem. Och det kan jag ju utan problem ha. Sedan åkte vi till Smithfield och Smithfield Implement. Där köpte jag en cowboyhatt. Jag testade väldigt många, men den jag köpte passade bäst. Jag fick dessutom 20% rabatt. Sedan åkte vi till matvarubutiken och handlade lite inför middagen. Därefter lagade Dedee sallad till lunch.

Till middagen visade Dedee mig hur man gör majstortillas. Mycket lättare än jag trodde. Hon marinerade kyckling som sedan grillades och gjorde en mangosalsa med avocado, rödlök och koriander. Till efterrätt åkte vi och köpte glass på Sub Zero. Där fryser de glassen på beställning med hjälp av flytande kväve. Häftigt, och det blev god glass.

John och Holly kom och hämtade mig vid halv nio-tiden och vi åkte hem och jag håller just nu på att försöka packa färdigt inför Portland imorgon. Vi måste åka härifrån senast 06.30. Jippie..!

Today I’ve been at the bank. I thought I would have to terminate one of my accounts and change the terms for the other. Turns out I didn’t have to as long as I keep $25 in them and rotate that sum between the accounts. And that’s no problem. Then we went to Smithfield and Smithfield’s ... There I bought a cowboy hat. I tried on many, but the one I bought had the best fit. I also got 20% off. Then we went to the grocery store and bought some stuff for dinner. After that Dedee made salad for lunch.

For dinner Dedee showed me how to make corn tortillas. Much easier than I expected. She marinated chicken that later on were put on the grill and made a mango salsa with avocado, red onion and cilantro. For dessert we went and had ice cream at Sub Zero. They make the ice cream there and they freeze it with liquid nitrogen. Cool, and it was good ice cream.

John and Holly came and picked me up around 8.30 and we went home and right now I'm trying to finish packing for Portland tomorrow. We have to leave home at latest 6.30 AM. Yay..!
